NORIA DE ÁNGELES.- Luego de su regreso de España, el presidente municipal Biliulfo Rodríguez Esparza aseguró que “el terreno aquí es apto para instalar invernaderos” y crear toda una industria de producción por este medio.
En su Municipio, concretamente en la comunidad San Francisco, dijo, se han instalado invernaderos para producción de semilla y planta, pero requieren de más tecnología para crecer.
Hay también cuatro grupos de personas interesadas en solicitar apoyos para establecer invernaderos en media hectárea cada uno, para concretar un proyecto de 2 hectáreas en total.
En ambos casos, informó el alcalde, gestiona con la Sagarpa y la Sedagro apoyo económico para los productores.

Al regresar de Almería, España, mencionó que es “fabulosa” la organización que han logrado los productores para sacar adelante las 27 mil hectáreas de terreno que han convertido en invernaderos.
Y el valor agregado con la instalación de empresas que se dedican a producir lo que hace falta para el funcionamiento de los mismos.
Comentó que gente de la Fundación Tecnova, que impulsa este tipo de proyectos a nivel mundial, trabaja ya en Sinaloa con buenos resultados, por lo que Zacatecas no sería la excepción para este tipo de áreas cultivables.

Sobre su experiencia, reiteró que sí hay factibilidad para instalar estas tecnologías en el Municipio, incluso en todo el País, porque hay terrenos “muy buenos”, por lo que “sí reditúa porque todo el año hay producción”.
En su caso, declaró que será cuestión de insistir en el diálogo con el titular de la Secretaría de Desarrollo Agropecuario (Sedagro), para aprovechar los recursos que pudieran destinarse a este rubro.
Amén de que existe un convenio firmado con la gobernadora Amalia García, para realizar este tipo de proyectos. Por parte de Almería, España, hay toda la disposición de los técnicos para venir a dar capacitación.

VILLA GONZÁLEZ ORTEGA.- El quincuagenario José Ponce Ruiz, de 52 años de edad, vecino de este Municipio perdió la vida de severos golpes en la cabeza que sufrió al ser embestido por un automóvil en la carretera que va a la comunidad de Estancia de Ánimas.
El accidente ocurrió ayer cuando don José se desplazaba en una bicicleta y de pronto se atravesó al paso del vehículo según relató a la policía el conductor Manuel Mejía Martínez, de 42 años de edad.
El vehículo que lo aventó es marca Nissan, tipo sedán, color blanco, modelo 1993, con placas de circulación ZGC6568, que manejaba Manuel Mejía vecino del municipio de Noria de Ángeles.
El accidente se produjo cuando circulaba a la altura del kilómetro 3+400 de la citada carretera y el ahora occiso no se fijó e invadió su carril sin que pudiera maniobrar para evitar lanzarlo.

A la izquierda, cruce de Gonzalez Rd. y Oxnard Boulevard. A la derecha cruce de Rose Ave. y Calle Cinco, en oxnard CA.

Five Oxnard residents, including the father-and-son owners of an auto body shop, were arrested Thursday and accused of conspiring to smuggle illegal immigrants across the border in elaborate, hidden compartments built into pickup trucks and SUVs.

The suspects are accused of operating a ring that brought people into the country at least 25 times in 2005 and 2006. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said one or two illegal immigrants were carried at a time, tucked away in audio speaker boxes, center consoles and secret compartments allegedly crafted at Chucky’s Body Shop and Aceves Upholstery, located in the same building on East Fifth Street in Oxnard.

“They were fairly elaborate in the lengths they went to hide these people,” said David Wales, resident agent in charge of immigration enforcement in Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. “They built specialized compartments carving out cushioned material from the back of seats and under seats.”

Edgar “Chucky” Eduardo Aceves, 26, was accused of directing the smuggling ring in a six-count indictment. His father, Eduardo Aceves-Murillo, the 45-year-old co-owner of the auto body and upholstery businesses, was also arrested and accused of modifying pickup trucks to hide illegal immigrants who were transported at a price of $1,500 to $3,000.

Other Oxnard residents arrested were Aceves-Murillo’s daughter, Claudia Aceves, 22; David Fernandez, 29; and Gladys Anilu Leal, 24. Jose Enrique Rodriguez Jr., 23, of National City was also arrested.

The first arrest related to the alleged smuggling ring came nearly a year ago. Arturo Rodriguez-Leon, 40, of Oxnard pleaded guilty in October to smuggling a felon into the country and is scheduled for sentencing in March.

The new charges involve incidents from May 2005 to August 2006. Wales said the suspects are not being charged with leading an ongoing smuggling operation.

Two of the men smuggled into the country had been previously convicted of drug trafficking, Wales said. All three members of the Aceves family were accused of smuggling aggravated felons, marking the first time the charge has been used in a seven-county region and bringing a promise from U.S. Attorney Thomas P. O’Brien for harsher penalties.

“Criminal aliens are a known threat to residents of the United States,” he said.

The defendants could not be reached for comment Thursday, but two men working at Chucky’s Body Shop said they knew nothing about the arrests or the alleged crimes. One of the men said a family member had called and said Edgar Aceves wouldn’t be at work because of a family emergency.

“She didn’t say anything about anyone being arrested,” he said.

The business at 800 E. Fifth St. is one of more than a dozen auto repair shops in a commercial strip on Oxnard’s east side.

The indictment accuses suspects of buying and modifying trucks with extended cabs and recruiting drivers to carry people across the border. The illegal immigrants, including unaccompanied minors and people previously deported, were left in Oxnard, Los Angeles and other cities.

The people were allegedly concealed wherever they fit. One illegal immigrant, hidden on the floor of a truck, suffered second-degree burns caused by heat from a drive shaft, Wales said.

The investigation began in October 2005 and was triggered by a tip, Wales said, noting that officials discovered some members of the ring had previously been apprehended but not charged.

This car was not used to bring illegals.

The indictment contends illegal immigrants were transported one or two at a time, out of the belief that drivers would be less likely to be arrested and charged criminally.

The case is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. ICE received assistance in the investigation from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, including the San Diego Border Patrol Sector’s Smuggling Interdiction Group, and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.

Hola como han estado, saludos para todos, me gusta la nieve que se observa en las montañas de California, ¿de verdad quieren nieve y frió? De una paseada por estos rumbos Des Moines Iowa. Haber que tal le parece, aquí le mando unas fotos para que pueda ver como se vive por aquí con la nieve.

Aunque usted no lo crea este es un lugar muy bonito donde se puede disfrutar de las cuatro estaciones del año y la naturaleza; en algunas áreas, la gente puede disfrutar en patio de la casa venados patos, pavos silvestres, ardillas, conejos como parte de la naturaleza que disfrutamos aquí.

Y gracias a Dios no cuesta tan caro comprarse una casita; a si que si algún día esta entre sus planes comprarse un lugar donde vacasionar y pasar un tiempo tranquilo considere la posibilidad de visitar Des Moines, Iowa.

(FEB. 16, 2008) ¡Y va de nuevo!
Christmas, año nuevo, ocho de enero, cumpleaños, 14 de febrero,han dejado a mas de cuetro algo canzados, incluyendo a un servidor. Ademas por aca tuvimos algo de lluvia, despues un poco de frio, y que aun a lo lejos se puede ver algo de nieve en las montañas. Tambien he estado esperando mas fotos de la fiesta de enero de La Noria, pero no he recivido nada. Asi que a mandar esas fotos.

Foto tomada desde la casa de un servidor, donde se puede apreciar la nieve en lo alto de las montañas. Mis respetos a los que viven en ciudades como, Chicago o New York, o en los estados que ver nevar es muy comun. Aqui en California nos andamos muriendo de frio, con cualquier cosa.

Un servidor, partiendo el pastel. Mi compadre “Nacho” el que siempre me visita en christmas, o el año nuevo, esta vez fue en mi cumpleaños, mi prima Ofelia Monrreal (o Villalobos) de blusa rosita con rayas blancas, y la señora “Yolly”, como la llaman de cariño.

La señora Ofelia Hernandez, la cual conocemos por medio de mi otra prima, Rosa Monreal, por casi treinta años, aplaudiendo alegremente mientras parto el pastel. ¿Cuantos años?, en el pastel estan las dos velitas con los numeros, cincuenta …..y muchos.

…y por supuesto no podia faltar el regalo: un mini acordion, el cual tendre que aprender a tocar, de aqui hasta el proximo cumle años.

6th. Commandment, Exodus 20:13 “Thou shalt not kill”. Strangely enough this is a commandment despite all the punishments that require death in the New Testament and the Old Testament. How can thou not kill when thou is commanded to kill at the same time? This hypocrisy should be pointed out if the ten commandments are posted in schools, court rooms and buildings of legislation. The confusion of this commandment would surely bring capitol punishment into question.

7th. Commandment, Exodus 20:14 “Thou shalt not commit adultery”. Old Testament punishment - Leviticus 20:10 “And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall be put to death”.

I am working on compiling the list of punishments for commandments 8, 9, and 10. They should be up by then. In the mean while I have several other random commands by god that are quite interesting which I have listed here. The following command is very relevant for it requires a mandatory belief in the biblical god. Following the Ten Commandments, which are also listed in Deuteronomy 5:7-21, there are a number of curses which shall come upon thee, and overtake thee. These curses are given in Deuteronomy 28:17-68. Space does not permit all of them to be quoted, but a few are that the Lord will smite thee with consumption, fever, hemorrhoids, scab, madness, blindness, boils, and many more even worse.

For those of you Christians who disregard the Old Testament (even though Christ said it was forever binding), I have gathered together a great law from the New Testament. Romans 1 :29-32 “Those filled with unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, hate for god, despite, proud, boasters, inventions of evil things, disobedience to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, unnatural affection, implacable or unmerciful nature: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death”.

Now I have had the displeasure of meeting many a Christian and I have one to meet as of yet, whom according to this list, are NOT worthy of death. How many of us feel envy, wish to fornicate, boast or gossip? How many Christians are guilty of debating? Why every day some Christian is debating the word of god or his dogmas with me. Every day I am the victim of deceit and despite at the hands of some Christian verbally harassing me for my beliefs. No wonder why god said that there shall only be 144,000 in the heaven out of all his followers.

In Conclusion:

Christians and Jews should post the commandments up in their parochial schools and in their churches/temples. But, if they insist on doing so they should print out this very page and hang it up for all to see. Don’t be a half-ass religionist; educate your children on what God truly commands. Stop thriving on telling half truths about your Bible/Pentateuch and publish the WHOLE story. Most importantly, do not think you have the right to post them in public institutions. It is MY job to educate MY child. Children need to learn the true meaning of love, compassion, morality, forgiveness and mercy. Not the filthy dogmas your Jehovah commands. Quite frankly, in comparison to hell-fire and damnation I’ll stick with Big Bird.
